Lumos Luxe Aesthetics is a boutique medical aesthetics practice in Canyon Lake, California — where light meets intention. Founded by Nichia Smith, BSN, RN, CSRN, a nurse with 18 years of healthcare experience spanning surgical coordination, perioperative nursing, and spine navigation, Lumos Luxe was built on a foundation that most medspas simply don't have — deep clinical roots, a genuine understanding of human anatomy, and a commitment to care that goes far beyond the surface.
We offer personalized neurotoxin, lip filler, microneedling, GLP-1 weight loss, peptide therapy, and vitamin injection services — all performed by licensed registered nurses under the medical directorship of Dr. Clifford Liu, MD.
What makes us different is not just what we do — it's how we do it. Every treatment plan is built around your unique anatomy, your goals, and where you are in your life right now. You will never feel rushed, oversold, or like a number here. We take the time to understand you before we ever touch your face. Our sessions are designed to be as restorative for your nervous system as they are transformational for your skin. And the care we extend to you doesn't end when you leave the chair.
Lumos Luxe was built with intention — and named with purpose. Lumos is the spell that summons light in the dark. That is what this practice is built to do, for every woman who walks through our door. ✦

We are located in the Wild Blush Lux Suites in the Canyon Lake Town Center, Canyon Lake, CA. We serve clients from Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, Wildomar, and the surrounding Inland Valley and Southwest Riverside County communities.
-
You can book directly through our online booking portal at lumosluxeaesthetics.com. New clients are encouraged to book a consultation first so we can build your personalized treatment plan before your first service.
-
For new injectable clients, a consultation is recommended and often completed same-day as your first treatment. For GLP-1 and peptide programs, a good faith exam (GFE) through our telehealth partner is required before any medication is prescribed. For microneedling, new clients can book directly.
-
Lumos Luxe is an intentionally boutique practice, small by design, not by accident. Our team of registered nurses ensures you always receive personalized, clinically guided care from a provider who knows your face, your goals, and your story. You will never feel like a number here.

We currently offer Jeuveau®, Daxxify®, and Letybo® — a curated selection of modern, FDA-approved neurotoxins. We believe in offering what we trust, not everything that exists. Your provider will recommend the best product for your goals, anatomy, and desired duration of results.
-
Daxxify® is an FDA-approved neurotoxin made by Revance Therapeutics. Unlike traditional neurotoxins that last 3–4 months, Daxxify® is clinically shown to last 6–9 months in many patients — making it ideal for clients who want longer intervals between treatments. We are proud to offer Daxxify® as part of our curated neurotoxin menu.
-
Jeuveau® is a modern neurotoxin made by Evolus, FDA-approved specifically for aesthetic use. It is sometimes called "Newtox." We love Jeuveau® for its clean, consistent results and value — we believe exceptional outcomes shouldn't come with an inflated price tag.
-
Letybo® is the newest FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A, made by Hugel America. It offers a clean, precise result with a natural onset similar to Jeuveau®. We are among the early adopters of Letybo® in the Inland Valley — offering our clients access to the newest innovations in aesthetic medicine.
-
Neurotoxin treatment is priced per unit, starting at $11/unit. The number of units you need depends on your treatment areas and muscle activity — your provider will give you a transparent quote before any treatment begins. There are no surprises at Lumos Luxe.
-
Standard neurotoxins (Botox®, Jeuveau®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Letybo®) typically last 3–4 months. Daxxify® can last 6–9 months. Results vary based on your metabolism, muscle activity, and lifestyle
-
You will begin to notice softening within 3–5 days. Full results are visible at 7–14 days. We include a complimentary 2-week follow-up with every neurotoxin treatment to assess your outcome and address any touch-up needs.
-
We currently offer Revanesse® Lips+ by Prollenium — an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler formulated specifically for lip augmentation. Prollenium is the only HA filler manufacturer in North America, and Revanesse® Lips+ is one of the fastest-growing fillers in the US for its natural feel, minimal swelling, and exceptional safety profile. We are intentional about our filler menu — we offer what we do exceptionally well, and we are expanding thoughtfully as our expertise grows.
-
We currently specialize in lip filler. Facial balancing and additional filler areas — including nasolabial folds, cheeks, jawline, and chin — are coming soon as we complete advanced training with our mentorship team. We believe in doing things right before doing them broadly, and we will never offer a service we aren't fully confident in. Stay tuned — we'll announce new treatment areas when we're ready.
-
Revanesse® Lips+ typically lasts 6–12 months depending on your metabolism, lifestyle, and how your body processes hyaluronic acid. Lips tend to metabolize filler faster than other areas. Consistent maintenance appointments help preserve and refine your results over time.
-
Revanesse® Lips+ contains lidocaine, a local anesthetic built into the formula that increases comfort as the treatment progresses. Topical numbing cream is applied before treatment. Most clients are genuinely surprised by how comfortable the experience is — mild pressure and brief moments of pinching are the most common descriptions.
-
Expect swelling and possible bruising for 3–7 days — lips tend to swell more than other areas and the first 48 hours can feel more dramatic than your final result. This is completely normal. You can return to most normal activities right away but we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, and extreme heat for 48 hours. Your true result is visible at 2 weeks once swelling fully resolves.
-
We use the Dermapen 4® — the world's most advanced microneedling device, used by providers in over 60 countries. With adjustable needle depth and speed settings, it allows us to fully customize every treatment to your skin type, concern, and sensitivity. Every session uses a brand new sterile cartridge opened in front of you. We chose Dermapen 4® intentionally — because we believe it delivers the best possible outcome for our clients.
-
SkinPen® was the first FDA-cleared microneedling device and we respect that. We chose Dermapen 4® for its superior customization, its global clinical track record, and the Dp Dermaceuticals® skincare system designed specifically to work with it. It's the device we trust — and trust matters when it's your skin.
-
Fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, enlarged pores, uneven texture, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, skin laxity, stretch marks, and overall rejuvenation. We also offer scalp microneedling for hair thinning. Not sure if microneedling is right for you? Book a complimentary consultation.
-
Every session includes a relaxing treatment mask, LED light therapy, and nervous system reset frequencies played throughout your appointment to support your body's healing response and bring you into a deeply restored state. Many clients describe leaving not just glowing — but genuinely reset. We believe your body heals better when your nervous system feels safe. We create that environment on purpose.
-
Most clients see meaningful results after 3 sessions and transformational results after 6, spaced 4 weeks apart. We offer single sessions, the Illumination Series (3 sessions), and our signature Luminary Protocol (6 sessions) for clients committed to deep, lasting transformation.
-
Your skin will be red and feel like a mild sunburn for 24–48 hours — your glow in progress. Light peeling on days 3–5 is normal. Most clients return to normal activities within 24–48 hours. Full post-care instructions and recovery products are provided at every appointment.
-
Active cystic or stage III–IV acne in the treatment area is a contraindication. Mild acne with no active pustules may still be treatable and is assessed at your appointment. Microneedling is highly effective for acne scarring once breakouts are controlled.
-
The Glow Roadmap is a 4-week inner and outer transformation framework created by Nurse Nichia — not a skincare guide, but a guided return to yourself. Built around nervous system regulation, inner child reparenting, somatic practice, healing frequencies, and intentional self-care rituals, it meets you at every layer of transformation — not just the surface. It was born from Nichia's own journey through grief, survival, and the long road back to herself. If microneedling tends to your outer radiance, the Glow Roadmap tends to everything underneath it. The two were made to work together.
-
